August 2nd is the feast of Portiuncula. A plenary Indulgence is available to anyone who will: 1. Receive sacramental confession (8 days before of after) 2. Receive the Holy Eucharist at Holy Mass on August 2nd 3. Enter a parish church and, with a contrite heart, pray the Our Father, Apostles Creed, and a pray of his/her own choosing for the intentions of the pope.

All parish volunteers over the age of 17 are required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to complete a CORI (Criminal Offense Record Information) form annually. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston also requires a Code of Conduct Agreement to be signed and on file for each individual serving in a ministerial capacity. Both forms are to be completed in person. Please come into the parish office by March 9, 2019 to complete these requirements. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility to serve in parish ministries
The official directive of the church includes offering each communicant the choice of receiving Communion in their hand or on the tongue. Whatever the communicant’s choice, it is essential that the Eucharist be received with complete reverence.
A Holy Hour for Life will be held on: Friday, January 18, 2019 at 1pm at Saint Leonard Church as part of the Archdiocesan observance of January 22nd as National Day of Prayer and Penance.
Beginning on Friday, April 13, 2018, please join us every Friday after the 12:05pm Mass for Eucharistic Adoration followed by the public devotion to the Divine Mercy at 3pm at St. Leonard Church
